Sometimes I’m highly ambitious, to the point that I’m almost exhausting myself by working working working non-stop, and sometimes I’m in a deeply spiritual place, flowing wonderfully through the happenings of life – non interfering, non attached.
Last year, in the spring of 2011, I had yet another life altering spiritual experience of awakening that was the springboard to what I have now come to realize, to take to heart, I mean really take to heart, and that is the fact that I will have to surrender completely to life and embrace my awakening.
It has been a process that has gone on consciously for a decade, and before that it was also in process, but more in a very different way. Life evolves in stages, and thinking back seems like a different life altogether.

I have always known, since I was a child, that I’m here to do something big with my life. That knowing has always been intact within me, even during my years of hardship and struggle.
That inner knowing was actually what finally got me to change my life about ten years ago.
There are layers upon layers and we never really “arrive”, and I believe that the one who thinks that hasn’t even begun. No one holds the ultimate truth and we all have our own path to follow.
I still don’t know exactly what life has in store for me, but I do know – after my last experience of awakening in 2011 – that I will have to let go of all my own goals and plans once again, so that I can receive that which is beyond my conscious minds desires and hopes.
After my experience last year, I went back to plotting and planning my own ways again, with the best intentions, while feeling deep down that “no, let go of it all, Maria, All of it“.
Apparently “all” really means all; that’s my conclusion after all these processes:-)
This site is about my journey, and I will share my own life experiences with the intent to support and help human evolution to higher consciousness.
I have other interests too, like for example Online stuff. Just browse this site and you get the idea of what I’m about.
Spiritual awakening can feel like bliss, but it can also feel like pure hell.
It’s a process of personal growth and expansion of consciousness. It’s a process of ego death, and at the same time a process of birth. A new you is emerging.
We go from being in states of ecstasy for life, I mean pure bliss at it’s very best, to be thrown into a dark pit of hell at times.
Things can get very intense and feel like everything is out of control, and the process – if embraced and understood- will lead us through it faster and ultimately shift our perception and awareness of life from where we are to our full, empowered potential;
Remember that something spectacular is being born – the new you, the real you – is coming forth; bringing more wisdom, creativity, compassion, and joy into the world.
I’ll write whatever I’m inspired to write, in any given moment, and by browsing my post titles you can get a feeling of the content and decide for yourself if what I share resonates with you and you want to become a member of mariaerving.com.
Life is short, even if “we are forever”; I believe that confronting our own beliefs and stretching our minds and inner boundaries is healthy.
I believe it’s healthy because it leads to spiritual freedom; to learn how to think for oneself and let go of old beliefs that often times holds us back.
At times this is a voluntary choice, and at times the transformation is put upon us by existence itself.
I have learned that we can either embrace it, or kick and scream our way to where life wants us to be – and become.

Short Bio:
Maria Erving has a background in Personal Development and Spirituality as well as Internet Marketing.
Throughout her life, Maria has been interested in the variety of universal laws and principles and how they directly and indirectly impact our lives.
She is the author of “Energy Awareness: How to Use Energy to Change Your Life” and “The Power of Aligned Thought: How The Mind Works and How To Use It” and have co-authored in several other books as well as being a contributor as an author on different personal development sites on the Internet.
Originally from Sweden, Maria has enjoyed the privilege of living in Spain, Finland and currently resides in Norway, which she has called home for the past ten years, and her favorite place on Earth is Los Angeles and California.
She is educated in a variety of alternative therapies such as Neuro-Linguistic Programing (NLP Master Practitioner), Life Coaching, Reiki Healing (Master), Bach Flower Remedies, and several types of body work therapies such as Energy Massage, Acupressure, and even massage for dogs!
