Two Powerful Questions To Ask Yourself When Feeling Scared To Go After Your Dreams

When feeling fearful or scared of all the new things you might ‘have to do’ (ego speaking, trying to prevent you to become who you really are) when you allow yourself to grow and move outside your comfort zone, there are some very powerful questions you can ask yourself that will help you change perspective in a minute if you want to!

Before you ask these questions, make a commitment to yourself that you are going to make a CHOICE. Make your mind know that you are serious and you mean business!

I’d suggest you write this down on paper so that you can get a clear picture – the larger perspective. Divide the paper in two and on the first side of the paper; write down your answers to these questions:

1. What would happen if I didn’t go through with this? How would my life look 6 months from now, a year from now, three years from now? If I didn’t do this?

And then after you have answered those questions, write down your answers on these questions:

2. If I did this, how would my life change? How would my life look in 6 months from now, a year from now..? How would my life change, if I did this?

Take your time and the feel your way to the solution that you have within yourself. You will know what to do. We always know. Only fear holds us back. Will you allow it?

lack of motivation is what makes us hold back, what makes us stagnant.
We live and dream and wish of becoming a successful business owner, but we keep on doing the same thing-nothing.

    Hi Maxine,

Thanks for your comment. I’m sorry you feel that way, but it’s not like that for everyone,
a lot of success has to do with attitude and perseverance when things don’t seem to go our way.
There is an undercurrent of life that we can’t see when we are too focused on what the physical eyes can see.
Meaning things are happening even if we can’t always ‘feel’ it strongly, and even when we feel discouraged.

You might find this post empowering: http://mariaerving.com/goal-setting/keep-on-believing-in-yourself-no-matter-what/

There’s always a motivation involved somehow, there is always a ‘why’ behind our actions, but many are not aware of their ‘why’,
so they feel stuck because they are unknowingly doing things for the wrong reasons. When feeling stuck, we can ask ourselves some
simple questions that helps us back to basics, and that is for example “OK, so, why am I doing this again?” and remind ourselves
about it, because sometimes we loose sight of that. It helps us come back to the present moment and out of feelings of victim-hood.

If you are talking about yourself doing nothing, then why don’t you try a different approach..?
If you know what you are doing is not working I mean.

I would suggest that instead of looking for, or seeking, motivation, try instead inspiration.
That is more empowering because it comes from the Soul, while motivation often has it’s root sin fear; “..if I don’t
do this, then that will happen, so I have to do this thing..”, or “if I do this thing then I might get that thing”,
but there is little love and passion involved.

Inspiration always comes from spirit, and we find it by prayer and meditation.
