Beginning of a new journey
My fridge is emptied, I have thrown away pretty much everything in it.
After I began to really see what it actually is that I have in my fridge, and where it comes from and what it contains etc, it was given; it has to go out, and that fast!
No more eggs that comes from factory farms, and no more salmon from fish farms.
I’m done with taking part in abusing living creatures, and I am eager and ready to begin a new journey, eating healthy and consciously. I also began investigating where my pets food comes from etc, and I will change their diet too.
If you know about organic pet food stores in Scandinavia, let me know!
My pets deserve the best food available, just like I do.
Here are some movies that I have seen.
Very interesting documentary, I highly recommend this one!: “Foodmatters”.
And remember the dolphin Flipper..?
Her trainer is now dedicated to rescue dolphins all over the world.
He has made a documentary, “The cove”.
This next documentary was very hard for me to watch, and I couldn’t watch the whole to be honest, it’s very graphic.
I had to fast forward many times during the movie and I post it here on my blog with a warning for the graphic.
Grateful that the guy “Pete” is doing what he’s doing though. God bless him for bringing the truth to the public.
“Death on a factory farm”.
Here’s another movie that might interest you: (it wasn’t really my kind of movie, I just watched half of it, but maybe you like it:-) “The botany of desire”.
So, anyway..! I’m done with the contrast I have become aware of, and from now on I’ll focus on positive change and making conscious choices with the new awareness that I have.
I look forward learning about new ways of cooking, new receipts (fell free to share yours! :-), and a healthier body.
It’s going to be interesting learning more about food and organic living and I will share with you all the progress and knowledge I will get now that I have chosen this new path 🙂

Great post…I love to shop organic especially in the meat sections…there is a distinct “energy” I receive when eating this way …great info..
Thank you Rick!
I feel the energy too, and I feel the happiness of my body when I eat organic.
I like your blog, it’s very intresting and I’ll come by many times more:-)
