Challenge Your Beliefs About God
How is your relationship with that which you call God?
Beliefs become crutches that hinders our true nature from flowing freely and if we never dare to question them we are held prisoners by our own minds.
Most beliefs are delusions as beliefs are not true, they are simply ideas that has been accepted as true, or they have been unconsciously developed by us because we have assumed that what the world or others tells us is true.
With the awakening process all kinds of beliefs fall away and one of them is the concept of God.
To be free from the concept of God is to live a liberated life and this is what I will be speaking about in my next Teleclass.
All our gods are fictional and not all-powerful beings at all but imaginary friends or a Father-figure (or mother for some); in other words they function more or less as security-blankets for millions of people all over the world.
Now there’s nothing wrong with wanting to feel secure and safe, but that safety is not to be found in a God that is there sometimes and sometimes not.
Have you ever wondered why God is not all of your prayers, and have you ever questioned the actual power of your God?
If he’s all-knowing, all-powerful and so on, what excuses do you make for him when he doesn’t come through for you when you need him the most?
This is really interesting and we have all done it.
Just be totally honest with yourself;
What excuses do you make for God in your life; what do you tolerate from God that you would never tolerate from someone you call your best friend?
The greatest realization I have made in my own awakening process is that God is a concept, and that the real God is the I AM, and while I know that many people agree with me when I say that, I also sense that most people believe it to be true that we are one with God (as God), but they don’t know it, it’s not realized on a fundamental level.
It’s just a belief.
And again, beliefs are not true.
So in this weeks Teleclass I want to challenge you a little bit, I want to challenge your beliefs about God – and if you’re willing to open yourself up to the possibility that your God might not exist, then I invite you to join me:
And even if you’re 100% convinced that God as you see ‘him’ exists – then join me anyway! 🙂
Many, if not most, live and die without ever asking the fundamental question of “who am I?” and they never get to know who they really are, and a lot of the delusion in this world has to do with that we have completey given away our own innate God-power to ideas and concepts; to “images” of gods that are not true.
We are the divine. We are God expressed!
But that word, “God”, is so contaminated with all kinds of false ideas and beliefs.
People have forgot their true nature (false beliefs helped create this) and started to worship Gods, and millions of people continue to praise and worship them rather than connecting with the divinity within them, which is the true “God”.
And now we have a world full of people who live in spiritual poverty because they don’t know who they are.
That’s how the rift, or separateness was created; God became a super-being with all kinds of human characteristic and personality traits.
God was replaced by an idea, a belief – but once we realize the Truth about God and ourselves we are set free.
It’s such a relief to be free from the concept of God – and in whatever way it plays out for you, in whatever way you see or perceive God, I invite you to join me in this weeks Teleclass where I also invite you to share your own thoughts in the end of the call when I open the lines for discussion and questions.
NOTE:
The call will be on Friday (at the same time) instead of Thursday because it’s my 42nd birthday tomorrow and I have other plans 🙂
Wow, Maria. This article says in a few words something I’ve been unable to articulate for a long time.
“The greatest realization I have made in my own awakening process is that God is a concept, and that the real God is the I AM, and while I know that many people agree with me when I say that, I also sense that most people believe it to be true that we are one with God (as God), but they don’t know it, it’s not realized on a fundamental level.
It’s just a belief.
And again, beliefs are not true.”
There’s a paradox in there too, since there are limitations associated with being embodied that clash with the idea of omnipotence and omniscience we commonly associate with “God”. Another concept that has to be rooted out?
Yes, this path is full of paradoxes! 🙂
I spoke a little bit about your question in the Teleclass; basically what I mean is that it’s not about ‘abandoning’ God, but abandoning your ideas and concepts about God.
And I presented different ways in which you can do that in the call, things you can do that challenges the beliefs you have about God and where you open up to Truth by exposing your ego as it is It that has created the concept of God, in whatever way it plays out for you in your life.
Hope you get a chance to listen to it, I’m sure you’ll like it 🙂

Hi Maria, How is it that I feel that I do not subscribe to either ideas about who “God” is? I don’t care at all too worship things and ideas outside of me, but for some reason, I don’t feel that I AM that special thing, either. I feel so stuck. Nothing is significant or joyful to me anymore. There seems to be no belief that helps me. Emptiness is what I feel and find that I am very fearful. Any thoughts would be helpful.
Hi Starr,
I just replied to you on your other comment.
