Be the fullness of who you are

Change Your Self and Reality Will Follow

By changing yourself you don’t lose identity; you become more of who you are!

And by becoming more of who you are, you start normalizing yourself into a new, better direction in life.

Your ego is meant to be incorporated into your life experience; it’s not a ‘bad’ entity that lives inside you, meant to be killed or that you have to get rid of, as many in spiritual circles believe.

It’s part of the wholeness of who you are! Give yourself permission to be fully you, instead of living in a fragmented way where parts of who you are are shunned and disowned.

You want to be whole! And that doesn’t mean ‘perfect.’

The ego helps us define our individual identity and allows us to navigate the physical world and our interactions with others; it helps us have boundaries and live in our individuality.

Problems only arise when the ego becomes the dominant aspect of our consciousness.

When you think that that’s who (and all) you are, the ego becomes controlling, which leads to a sense of separation, and that, in turn, breeds fear and more limitations in life because you’re living through a very narrow lens of false beliefs that keep you small.

And then all actions taken come from a place of fear, insecurity, lack, defensiveness, and the need for external validation, and so on – Not a very enjoyable life, where everything depends on how things are on the ‘outside’.

On the other hand, if we don’t make the ego ‘bad’ or undesirable, as if it’s something to get rid of, then we can develop and grow a healthy ego, which is meant to be part of our human construct.

Embrace the totality of who you are—include the ego in your life. It shouldn’t be the driving force in your life, but the one experiencing this life. Wholeness is your Holiness.

People with a healthy ego structure are more playful and overall happier individuals. They enjoy life more by being the experiencers of it, rather than overthinking and being overly concerned about themselves.

Some questions to ponder:

  • What do you think of yourself?
  • What do you think of your ego?
  • Who are you in relation to the totality of who you are?

It’s not about ‘getting rid of’ the ego, but to align it with our higher self, with the higher aspects of who we are, and by doing so, the ego becomes an integrated part of our being that is working in harmony with our spiritual essence.

When the totality of who we are is in alignment, we are able to express and live out our true self-expression and unique path in life.

Look deeper into who you really are; what you believe about yourself.

Whenever we see through limiting beliefs and start developing new ones, we also begin having new thoughts, perceptions, and behaviors. We naturally ‘become’ that new person when we change our self-concept.

And then, despite your current circumstances, as you begin to think and feel from this higher perspective of wholeness and alignment, a new life or a different trajectory for your life becomes possible.

When you change internally, your outer life will change too. It will reflect your inner shifts, and as you stay in alignment with the whole truth of who you are, things will begin to shift quickly on the outside as well.
