The Coronavirus crisis can serve as a wake up call for humanity
We are being reminded of what is truly important in life.
What is happening right now can be a reminder to all of us to connect, unite and support each other more and appreciating what we have.
Life as we know it is in the process of changing and this could be our graced opportunity to be more deeply compassionate, caring, and concerned about others – and ourselves.
For many this could also serve as the perfect opportunity to find their way back into alignment again and to a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
Right now is an opportunity for us as a human race to reset and stop rushing around and filling our lives with things that don’t really make us happy.
It’s an opportunity to stop, look around us and see all the beauty and goodness of life that has been gifted to us but which we have stubbornly ignored.
I firmly believe that this is all happening for a very good reason, and as with everything in life, good and ‘bad; ‘this too shall pass’ for the better for all humanity.
Many people will find their true purpose in this process, and later when they look back at this time in their life, they will see why it had to happen the way it did.
A story:
“A teacher brought balloons to school and asked the children to blow them all up and then each write their names on their balloon.
They tossed all the balloons into the hall while the teacher mixed them from one end to the other. The teacher then gave them 5 minutes to find the balloon with their name on it.
The children ran around, looking frantically but as the time ran out – nobody had found their own balloon…
Then the teacher told them to take the balloon closest to them and give it to the person who’s name was on it. In less than 2 minutes everyone had their own balloon.
Finally the teacher said,
“Balloons are like happiness. No one will find it looking for theirs only. Instead if everyone cares about each others they will find theirs as quickly as possible.”

I saw this story somewhere online so I can’t take credit for it (and are not sure where it comes from or who wrote it), but I liked it and wanted to share it with you.
I believe that the most important questions we can ask ourselves is:
“How can I be of service?”, and “how/where/who can I help?”
And the most powerful prayer we can utter is to ask to be used by God/the universe/Source/Life in whatever way our Soul wishes.
Life knows what it’s doing – it just needs our participation in order to be able to create what it intended through us in the first place.
Surrendering to the flow of Life and serving what is in front of us and letting the new emerge and come fully alive through us is what humanity is called to do now.
Have you noticed that you can’t even try to predict what will happen tomorrow and that it has never been any clearer than it is now?
This realization of this forces humanity back into the present moment, to Right Here and Now, where our whole life really is and has always been.
Surrender to the flow of Life and give all your concerns and worries about the future over to it and you will see a new world and life emerge quicker than you ever thought possible.
It’s the resistance to change, and fear and anger, that keeps humanity stuck in the old level of consciousness (which is in the process of dying right now), and the only way to move forward positively, is to realize that we have a choice.
We can choose to respond from a place of love and trust.
Letting go fully into the flow is the most empowering thing you can do.
There is another the way that we are meant to live our lives – and it’s in alignment with the flow of the universe.
Right now we are called to let go more fully into BEING and simply follow the ‘next right thing to do’ that is put in front of us.
What seems to be the next obvious thing to do in your own life? Ask with your heart, not your mind, and you will hear the right guidance.
We don’t know what’s going to happen next, so Be Here Now and enjoy life as best as you can, which can mean that you extend your help, care and compassion towards others in this time where many people are struggling and scared.
The act of giving and encouraging others is always the way to move forward.
The world is shifting to a higher level of consciousness, old beliefs and structures are collapsing all around us, and this is a chance for everyone to wake up to who and what they really are, so take it.
Work with Life on this and surrender to the flow of the universe and let it show you what’s next.
Your life has the chance to be unrecognisable after this transformational process is over – in the most positive and fulfilling way.
So ask yourself the questions again;
“How may I serve?” – as in ‘what is my higher (or true) purpose in this life’.
“How can I help?” – as in what you can do to help others in this global time of crisis.
And let your prayer be to be used by Life according to your soul’s will, and by doing this, something beautiful and powerful will begin to emerge from within yourself and in your life.
