Dealing with Uncertainty and the Unknown
Uncertainty and fear of the unknown causes so much unnecessary suffering!
There is a lot of uncertainty in the world right now and for many it’s incredibly stressful and people all over the world are full of anxiety and fear.
The small self is full of theories and fears and worries, but there’s a part of you that is never worried, that is always at peace, no matter what is going on in the world.
It’s the beliefs of the small self that gets in the way, while the truth is that we can never know enough to worry because we don’t even know what will happen 5 minutes from now.
The small self can theorize about it and then terrorize you about the findings it makes – If your mind is not aware and open to all the other infinite number of outcomes that are also possible, besides from what you think will happen.
Or in other words, what the ego self *thinks* will happen, or not happen.
Fear is always the root cause that blocks inner peace and calm.

The mind wants to desperately know what will happen next and what to do and how to control outcomes.
It’s the small self’s attempt to take charge of something it cannot control, and the suffering comes only when we believe it and get caught up emotionally in the stories it tells us.
This is simply the way it reacts to uncertainty and the unknown, and when you become aware of this, that’s when you can shift from fear and worry to freedom and inner peace.
