Don't worry and ruminate

Don’t Allow Your Mind to Assume and Ruminate

Literally just follow the flow, and you will always know what to do

Say this to yourself:

“I don’t have to figure anything out. I’m ALWAYS guided. I don’t have to ‘look’ for it, or ‘try to get it’, or anything like that. I literally only have to follow the flow, and I will always know what to do.

When there’s something for me to do, I’m always informed – so RELAX. No need to stress or worry about anything. I’m always guided. Just follow the flow!”

How does it feel to say this?

The mind jumps into assumptions and ruminates in an attempt to try to control the outcomes, while in reality, none of knows what will even happen five minutes from now.

When you stop the mind from ruminating, and you’re not allowing it to do that, then you will see how everything resolves itself, many times magically, like the Universe ‘rewards’ you for just relaxing and letting go.

After you have experienced this even a few times, it becomes the most obvious way to live.

Let go of control after you have done what you could

If you’re in the midst of something right now and your mind is all over the place, trying to ‘figure things out’, or trying to control how things are gonna go, or the outcomes of things, or if its ruminating on how things could go wrong, and so on, then STOP.

And say it again; “I don’t have to figure anything out. I’m ALWAYS guided. I don’t have to..”, say it out loud to yourself, and if it’s still continues, go to the mirror and look yourself in the eyes and say it out loud again.

We can’t ‘think’ and speak things out loud at the same time;

Our actual voice overrides the thoughts, so speaking out loud to yourself is very powerful, that’s one way of taking control of your ruminating and obsessive mind.

When you do this, you will feel a sense of relief, and you feel an upliftment of your energy, it will feel empowering, like you’re no longer a slave to your mind.

And it’s not about ignoring what’s going on in your life, but about taking control of your emotional response to it, as we always ‘feel’ what we ‘think’, so by ‘thinking’ differently, you will ‘feel’ differently.

The mind can’t know what will happen

If you look back at your life, how many of the things that happened, was ‘your’ doing?

Or did things/it ‘just happen’?

And this doesn’t mean we don’t take responsibility, of course we do, but we can only take action to a certain point, and then we have to let go and let the rest unfold by itself.

The events of our life can then unfold naturally, and then, if you suddenly feel the nudge to do something, then you do it, and that’s how our life is meant to unfold. Easily and peacefully.

Literally just follow the flow of how your life is unfolding and you will always know what you need to know, at the exact right time you need to know it.

“Tell” your mind what you want

Otherwise it will just keep ruminating and assuming things, but if you give it a ‘goal’, or a task, then you can redirect the energy towards those things instead.

Write down 1-3 things you want, need, desire, dream of, hope for, or whatever it is that is relevant and current for you at this very moment.

And then ‘do’ what feels obvious and natural. Do that thing, and then do the next thing after that, and so on, until you reach a point where you can’t ‘do’ anything else, or more. That’s all we ever have to ‘do’.

Leave out any assumptions or expectations on where it will lead or how things will unfold or happen, because we don’t know how those things will happen. We don’t know. We have never known – again; if you look back on your life; can you tell me one single thing that you ‘knew’ would happen the way it happened?

I’m not talking about end results here, or having a vision and seeing it come alive and be manifested, I’m talking specifically about HOW it happened and unfolded.

That part is never known to us, and that’s the part the mind so desperately want to be in control over, and since it never can control it, that’s where the ruminating and assuming comes from – it’s based if fear – fear of the Unknown.

And especially if it has to do with something we ‘need’, like a human need, where there’s a ‘if I don’t get this, I will lose..’ feeling attached to it – that kind of fear.

But I can tell you that once you let go of trying to figure out the part you have no control over, the thing you fear will happen resolves itself, and many times in absolutely magical ways, in ways you could never had predicted beforehand.

A powerful way to get back in alignment with the natural unfolding of your life is to ask yourself:

“Am I following the flow? Yes or no?” If yes, then don’t worry! Don’t care how things ‘look’, and you will experience the magic of things resolving themselves before your eyes!

Live in the Now, be Present

Don’t beg, plead, or obsess. But say what you want or need, write it down, and then meditate on it for a few minutes. Engage your intuition and subconscious in the process.

Know that the answers and solutions are within you, and as you get clear on what your needs are the situation, and you state it to yourself and the deeper wisdom within you, the path will become clear and the way will open up for you.

Or, you can always continue letting the mind jump into scary conclusions, you can let it ruminate, catastrophizing, and expecting bad things to happen. The choice is ours; we can let the mind do that, or we can take charge of it. Those are the choices we have in each moment of our life.

When we look at it this way it becomes obvious that we have a say in how things will go and how we want to feel. We can just as well assume good things to happen, and that things will go well.

And even IF that ‘bad thing’ the mind is worrying about would happen; then you will know how to deal with it, IF it even happens“. There’s no point in ruminating about those things before they are even ‘real’.

Say something like this to yourself:

“I deal with whatever happens, when it happens, if it even happens. I absolutely refuse to worry and be scared.”

“Everything that happens from now on, is directly related to and connected to what I just did (the writing down what you need + the mediation), and I can confidently let the whole thing go, knowing that what happens next is part of the solution and answers I need”.

And then you let go of the whole thing, completely release it from your mind. And if the mind still comes in with its obsessive control issues, then keep redirecting it by saying what I wrote at the beginning of this post:

“I don’t have to figure anything out. I’m ALWAYS guided. I don’t have to ‘look’ for it, or ‘try to get it’, or anything like that. I literally only have to follow the flow, and I will always know what to do.

When there’s something for me to do, I’m always informed – so RELAX. No need to stress or worry about anything. I’m always guided. Just follow the flow!” and “Am I following the flow, yes or no?“, and if the answer is yes, then remind yourself that you don’t have anything to worry about.

And then again just go about your day, this time assuming that it will all go well and that everything will work out for you and resolve itself in the best way for all involved.

When you have truly let go, that’s when the validations start to drop in to your awareness, you will see an increase in synchronicity and other signs, and you will suddenly start to feel supported and connected again, like you have been heard, that you’re not alone, something is with you, helping you, watching over you, guiding you, and so on, and then fear and worry goes away too.
