Life keeps opening doors if you just trust

Follow your inner guidance even when others don’t understand

Trust yourself and your inner ‘knowing’

It leads you on your true path in life, and sometimes (or many times) other people don’t understand when we choose to do something, or not do something, because for them it’s illogical.

Like for example when we choose to wait when it seems more logical to ‘do’ something.

But you have to trust yourself and the way Life speaks to you.

Sometimes things are just not in alignment with your true path, and you can feel it, and sometimes it’s about waiting for the right timing of things.

And most people don’t get this way of living your life, they live more in their head than in alignment with themselves and the flow of their true life’s energy.

So they can’t understand you, because you’re functioning on a different level.

You’re so tuned in to the flow, and you can read the signs, and you hear the guidance, and by being in alignment like this, we keep a very close and ongoing communication with God/the Universe, and we become really good at trusting the timing and rightness of things too.

Not that it’s always easy! A story came to mind from when I was homeless.

I was given a home but chose to trust my inner knowing and turned it down

If you know my story, you know that I was homeless for 2.5 years, so many times I didn’t even know where I would be the next week. My situation was anything but stable and it was very uncertain.

I was walking in the Unknown all the time, and one day I got an opportunity that sounded really amazing; I was literally given an apartment for free, a beautiful duplex apartment, right by the beach.

It was incredible, and first I saw it as an obvious solution to my situation, an answer to my prayers, .. but then I felt something else. I felt wrongness about the whole thing.

Something felt off about it, so I told the people who had offered it to me that I needed a couple of days to think, which they thought was strange, but I needed to pray about it, because something didn’t feel right.

I didn’t tell them that of course, and then when I went within and meditated on it, I just felt a clear No.

There was an inner knowing that said ‘don’t take the apartment’, and I didn’t know ‘why’, but I don’t have to know why, so I got back to the people and thanked them for there incredibly kind and generous offer, but that I couldn’t accept it.

And that’s when things happened that made me instantly realize that I had done the absolutely right thing to say no to it. Things became very clear, and any doubts that I had had before went away completely.

After I said no, something magical happened

Very shortly after that something absolutely magical happened. Right after I had said no to the apartment, another opportunity came to me, which was a thousand times better for me.

Still not my own place, but much better than what I could have ever imagined. And this time it was an instant yes and genuine connection and all went really well, like it was ‘meant to be’.

So by having the courage to say no to something that didn’t feel right in my soul, I was saved from a situation that would not had been good for me, and then another door opened for me instead.

And remember; I said no to the apartment without knowing where I would sleep the next week.

I didn’t know what would happen or where I could go, but a door opened as soon as I said no to something that didn’t feel right to me in my heart, in my inner knowing.

So we have to trust ourselves, we have to trust the inner ‘knowing’, and these kinds of experiences that I’ve had has really taught me this.

Sometimes things are about the right timing too.

And here too;

When we trust the divine timing of things and have the courage to wait until we get an internal ‘go’, even if it’s a really pressing situation (been there too, many times!) and everything around us screams we should ‘do something’, things resolve themselves in perfect timing and perfect ways if we just keep our faith and trust.

We have to trust ourselves and the inner knowing, even if it looks very illogical or strange to others, and no matter what they say – you have to trust yourself more.

Above all else; trust your inner knowing; it’s God speaking to you and guiding you on your path

It takes courage to do that, and most people just don’t operate on that level, so you have to be able to take ridicule, have people calling you things, thinking you’re irresponsible, weird, and so on.

Many people can’t relate to ‘trust the inner knowing’; they ‘trust’ how things are looking on the outside more, so just know that their judgments come from an unconscious place of fear and limitation (they can’t see beyond what they see with their five senses).

It can be challenging and difficult to be true to yourself, but no matter what is thrown at you, or how pressing the situation is, you have to be true to your own inner knowing.

If the God-voice within me is telling me to ‘wait’, if that’s what I hear, then that’s what I do. And that goes the other way too; if I hear a clear ‘go’, I go.

I do not hold back or hesitate (although I might first need to work through some internal barriers, since evolving to a new level always requires breaking through the current limits of our consciousness).

Trust where you are lead

I’ve taken a few leaps of faith in my life and it has always proven to be the most magical and miraculous way to live, and sometimes we just have to wait for things to come together for us, and that’s the part we don’t really have any control over.

The ‘go’ message is also not always easy either, because we know that the thing we’re called to do, or if we’re called to go somewhere, or say yes to something, then that will take us out of our comfort zone too (but that’s how our life expands!).

And this too is what most people don’t understand, they don’t understand how you can just do things because you feel guided to do them, especially if you don’t know how to do them and you just jump right in without a safety net. But again; this is how life expands. We’re meant to grow, and expansion requires boldness.

So whatever you do, always trust your own inner knowing, and let other people think what they want and say what they want. They don’t need to understand you or how you live your life.
