How to get out of boredom

Feeling bored?

Then do anything that stirs up the status quo!

“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” – Walt Disney

Keep your curiosity alive by being open to doing new things and having new experiences.

Human beings have a tendency to repeat behaviors unconsciously so when we break or disrupt them consciously something interesting starts to happen within us.

Try it and see for yourself!

Shake things up a little.

Try and do new things in life. Do something different than what you usually do.

“It is playing safe that we create a world of utmost insecurity.” – Dag Hammarskjold

Even the smallest thing can make a huge difference and bring much more enjoyment and fun into your life.

This could for example be to have a TV and Internet free weekend, that would inevitably force you to figure out what else you can do with your time and energy.

To get out of boredom something needs to be done.

If you don’t actually do something different, boredom remains.

Boredom is simply an unwillingness to do, it’s a motivational problem, not a situational problem.

Is life not a thousand times too short for us to bore ourselves?” ― Friedrich Nietzsche
