Going with the flow is not passive
Going with the flow is not about going through life passively, aimlessly “flowing” and being lazy.
It’s not about just letting things happen and ignoring taking action on the things that don’t sit well with us.
Accepting the facts of life and the situations that happen is not about ignoring or not taking action to change them.
It just means that this is how it is and now let’s get on with it; it’s about acceptance, not about indifference.
Flow is full of grace and ease where you move with the moment instead of being stagnant (stuck) with it because you resist it.
Inactivity comes from the ego, from fear, and that’s what keeps a person stuck but once they let go into the flow, they are set free.
This always includes some kind of action, and many times the action requires us to step outside of our comfort zone.
It’s not about us ‘thinking’ that this or that must be the right action to take, but it’s something that just happens naturally when there’s no fear.
Then the actions become natural and obvious, so you don’t really have to ‘think’ at all. You just follow.
You follow the flow of your life.
There’s no anxiety in this kind of life, there’s no frustration or stagnation, because you’re always moving with it, being attentive and aware of how life speaks and guides you every step in every moment.
Not a moment in the future, but now, in the present moment we are all being guided by Life itself.
Because we are it.
There is no ‘you’ in the doing, only in the resisting of the doing that wants to be done and that’s where the suffering comes from.
Freedom, peace and joy comes from letting go of yourself into the natural and true flow of your life, and it’s anything but passive, it’s actually the most dynamic, active and alive force there is.
And you are That.
