Life is always carrying us forward, if we allow it

There’s a rhythm to it, a natural current that pulls us into alignment when we stop fighting against it.

This flow is love, and the unfolding is always towards what’s meant to be, and in every moment we are given a choice: to move with it, or resist it.

Love feels like ease, surrender, an openness to what is, and it comes with a feeling of connectedness.

Fear feels tight, heavy, full of noise and stories that spin us in circles, blocks us and makes us tense.

And it’s between those two states we choose our life’s direction. That’s what our free will is for.

We get to decide what thoughts we choose to follow, what meaning we give to what’s happening, and which voice to listen to; the voice of the ego, or the still small voice within.

The ego speaks the loudest. It’s very quick to create a story, very quick, like why things are not going to work, why we need to control, why we should protect ourselves, and so on.

But underneath that noise is something quieter, something certain and confident, something life-giving and life-affirming. That is the voice of Spirit, of love.

And that voice doesn’t push or demand—it guides, and it speaks with and from a place of care. It’s kind. It’s supportive, loving.

It reminds us of what we already know; that we are safe, we are held, and that we’re part of something greater than ourselves.

Free will is about choosing how we see things, what we focus on, and what we align ourselves with

We can choose to see through the eyes of fear or through the eyes of love.

We can go against the flow by forcing and trying to control, or we can surrender, trusting the flow and the Divine will, which is always moving us toward the things that are actually good and right for us.

We don’t have to follow the voice of the ego self, the voice of fear. We can choose to align with love. It’s always available, and always waiting for us to choose it again.

So are you willing to release the fearful story, willing to listen to the voice of Truth, willing to trust the flow that is already carrying you exactly where you’re meant to be?

Because the question is never if love is present, it’s more about us being willing to see it, to move with it, to surrender to it. And when we do, that’s when we realize that love was never anywhere else but just here, where I am, and where you are, right now.

It was always right here, waiting for us to let go of the stories that keep us from it.
