Love Thyself (Give yourself some slack)
Our relationship with ourselves is the most important relationship we have, and having a compassionate one touches every aspect of life and is the foundation for all good things.
Self-love and self-respect is vital to living a good, enjoyable life and from there all good things happen and flow naturally and organically.
Today I wanted to inspire you to give yourself a pat on the back for everything you’ve done and for everything that you are.
Give yourself some extra love this weekend.
And actually, quite literally, right now, give yourself an actual pat on the back.
Look at your shortcomings, character flaws, failures, whatever it is that you might have been giving yourself a hard time about; look at yourself with fondness and love.
Give yourself some slack.
Be kind to yourself. Love yourself unconditionally.
Because you know what? You’re so worthy; you are absolutely deserving.
Loving yourself brings you back to yourself while keeping yourself on a tight string and demanding too much from yourself will only make life miserable.
Set yourself free by loving yourself.
Some extra lovin’ towards yourself is never a bad thing so see this short blog as an invitation to treat yourself something really nice this weekend.
Something that shows you that you love yourself, that you respect and care for yourself.
Give yourself something that you would give someone else you love unconditionally.
Because in the end; isn’t it true that you love them no matter what they do, say or think, and that all you want for them is to be happy and have a life that they enjoy?
So this weekend; encourage yourself to be just the way you are, with whatever flaws you think you have, and love yourself unconditionally, just as you would love your very best friend.
