We must be willing to let go of the life we planned..

“We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us” ―Joseph Campbell

This is true, and this is also the most challenging thing anyone can do.

It requires trust in oneself, because even trust will be have to let go of (before it transforms to a different kind of trust) and the whole process of letting go and surrendering every aspect of existence can take years.

But once the last little thread that has been held on to has been let go of (the little self, our habits and addictions, our fears, beliefs, plans and goals, even our businesses and so forth), when all that has been relinquished then life opens up in magical ways.

I know it sounds a bit woo woo, but that’s the only word I can use to describe it.

Life becomes magical.

Everything falls into place.

Things you had let go of years ago comes back, but in a transformed and more mature version.

New ideas come to you that you feel excited about, but this time you feel they are not yours, they are the desires of Life itself and you get to carry them out, and it feels like a huge honor and joy to serve in that way.

Life becomes so clear, the communication (intuition) is so deliciously clear and you are buzzing with incredible inspiration and appreciation for life that you sometimes don’t know what to do with yourself.

All you can do is to say a heartfelt Thank You.

There is incredible joy.

Heart is swelling over with love and you just want to hug the whole world.

Every person and living being you see is beautiful beyond words and nature is so noble and breathtakingly majestic, and every little lovely flower you see has never been so exquisitely beautiful in your eyes before.

There’s an increasing sense of enjoyment of the current of where life is taking you – you feel you’re right in your beingness and when we are right with ourselves, life is right too, and very, very kind and generous.

What is asked of us is to literally surrender all and step into the totally unknown without any roadmaps whatsoever.

At first it’s scary (because its completely new terrain), we get tested on the way; our commitment is tested, we are challenged to the core to see if our integrity is kept intact and if we stay true to our values.

And as we stay true to ourselves through it all, then suddenly it’s like a miracle happens.

There is a feeling of coming full circle

The hero’s journey will take you back to the beginning and into the world again but from a different place within.

You come to realize that the person who started the journey is not the same person who enters the door to the new life – there has been a complete transformation that has taken place over the years when you went through your moments of bliss and joy as well as the moments of frustration and utter fear.

All your past failures and frustrations were there in order to lay the foundation for the new level of living and beingness that you now can enjoy.

All those experiences that you went through has given you gifts that you are now able to contribute to others.

All because you were willing to surrender and let go of the “I” with all its desires, fears and attachments.
