The ONE question that will help you snap out of any anxious and fearful thoughts
“What do I know?”
Asking this question will help you snap back into alignment in an instant.
Whether stressed, worried, confused or scared, simply ask yourself what you know.
There’s a huge difference in thinking and feeling vs knowing.
So when your emotions are running wild, turn away from the turmoil by asking yourself what you know.
Not what you feel or think, but what you know.
Feelings come from thinking, they are the result of what we think and believe, so they are not anchored in Truth.
Since they are changeable they can’t be reliable, but what is always reliable is what you know.
What you know deep down to be true and that has nothing to do with your feelings and thinking.
So what do you KNOW?
The first thing everybody should know is this:
“God loves me.” (The Divine/the Universe etc, whatever your word is for It.)
This knowing should reduce a lot of anxiety right away.
You are loved, and you are not alone.
In God’s eyes you are Royalty and white as snow, so you are also forgiven for whatever you might have done in the past.
This moment is all there is, and This moment can be a new beginning.
A new, fresh start.
What else do we know?
Well, we know that the ego puts fear-thoughts in our minds and that they don’t belong to us, that they are not who we really are.
So we can disregard them, knowing that if we have asked God for help with something for example, then we also get it, so there really isn’t anything to fear or be worried about.
The fear-thoughts in your head is not yours, it’s just a program in your mind.
We are always at choice: “Do I want fear/stress, or do I want peace?”
If you want peace, then listen to God, not the other voice in your head.
What else can we know?
We can know that when we have done our best, we can let go and relax.
There’s nothing more we can do than just that, and nothing else is ever asked of us either!
Something else that we can know is that there’s always darkness before dawn.
So fear-attacks are very common just before a breakthrough, and when we know this, we can handle them constructively, and even see them as something positive.
“I know that ‘all things are added unto me‘ as I stay in alignment”.
But the Way and outcomes are not up to me to create or control.
If I push and struggle, I work against myself and the flow of Life.
So I stop, and get silent, so that I can hear, knowing that there’s something bigger at work here.
“Something bigger than me is in control”.
What I am in control over though, is my attitude, perspective, self-talk, beliefs, etc.
That’s what I know. It’s not a feeling or thought, it’s a knowing, and that knowing makes me powerful.
I’m in charge of how I want to feel and think; I’m in charge of what I let into my consciousness.
This I know. I know it’s my choice what I want to watch, discuss and focus on.
My energy is powerful, and it’s totally in my control to maintain a vibration of my liking, and not allow it to be lowered by some outside sources.
I also know that there are times where we have to wait, even times of isolation and being hidden from the world that we have to endure, but which serves us,
So what I know about that is that it’s all part of the perfect plan of the Most High.
So I know that I can trust it.
I know that as long as I stay in alignment, life is right and good, and I’m protected, helped, and guided in all my ways.
Feelings and thoughts can deceive, but my knowing never does.
So the question becomes “how am I freaking myself out with my thoughts and the feelings they create?”
And then I can shift my thoughts, I can shift my mindset, and I can use my imagination in constructive ways instead.
This I know.
I know that we all visualize and imagine all day long, whether we know it or not, so I might as well stay open and imagine wonderful things.
Because I know this too: Nothing bad is actually happening right now.
I’m sitting here reading this, and whatever is happening in my mind is something I’m doing to myself but which doesn’t really have any base in reality.
Again; this is what I know:
God is with me, and I am loved. There. Do I really need to know more right now?
By not insisting on anything more right now, I can bring myself back to baseline, back to Truth.
I can trust my intuition, my higher self, and I can get real still and just listen to That instead.
I can let go, and spend time with God.
I also know this:
That even if you might not always be able to control your thoughts, you can always control your speaking.
When you speak something out loud, it amplifies the power of the Truth within you and overrides therefore also the thinking, so that way Truth always wins.
The ego doesn’t really have a voice in my life.
I know I can say no to it; thanks, but no thank you.
“I decided to be powerful and have no fear”.
Saying this puts you in future state, which will empower you in the Now.
“I decided, and then I was, and have been ever since”.
It’s a different vibration and empowers your Being as it’s already a done deal;
“I already am, because I decided it in the past”.
So it’s not a feeling or thought; it’s who and what I AM, it’s my state of BEing.
“I decided to be powerful and have no fear”.
To recap:
Whenever you feel anxious, scared, worried etc, ask yourself what you know.
Not what you feel or think, but what you know.
This will help you get back in alignment, and then from that place of alignment, you are much better equipped to handle anything that is going on on the outside.
And not only that, but it’s good to ponder this question anyway!
To always have it at the forefront of your mind.
That way you never get caught up in whatever the small, limited ego voice in your head is telling you, or drawn into feelings that doesn’t belong to you.
“OK, thank you ‘feelings’ and ‘thoughts’, but what do I actually KNOW?”
And then start speaking all the things you know out loud to yourself and experience how the old, fearful thoughts and anxieties melt away as they really don’t have anything to come with when you’re in alignment with Truth!
