Spiritual Awakening Community
Okay, here it goes 🙂
This is a response to one of my readers who shared a suggestion about creating a forum where people can meet and mingle, form new friendships and so on –
All for individuals who are going through a spiritual awakening process.
You can read the article here:
Connecting With Spiritually Awakening People
At first I took the idea to me and thought it was wonderful idea but then my intuition woke me up this morning and told me that a forum for my website is not a good idea after all.
So I came to the conclusion that I’m not going to create a forum and the reason is that I feel that my role as a teacher is to teach and give guidance and direction to individuals who are going through a spiritual awakening process and other transformational processes.
And I’m doing that by offering private sessions, group meetings, talks, Teleclasses, and so on.
So I’m not really a ‘connector’, my work is not about connecting others on this path, and there are already plenty of opportunities to connect with like-minded people in the work that I do.
There’s my Facebook page where people can comment and discuss things, ask questions as well as get to know other people as they can easily contact people who seem interesting to them and then get to know them if they want to.
And lots of other ways in which anyone can connect with others that are like-minded that I mentioned in the last two posts that I have published. (Through commenting on my blog, joining my live calls etc etc).
With this said, even though I’m not going to create a forum I have created a community where people can meet new friends, mingle and share and so on and whoever wants to join is very welcome to join.
It’s an open Google plus community so all you need to have is a Google plus account and it’s easy to set up one (and it’s free) if you wish to join.
You can find the community here:
Spiritual Awakening Community On Google Plus
I have created a few categories that makes it easy to post, to say hi to the others, ask questions and so on.
Right now there are three main categories:
- Discussions
- Questions
- Connect with others
Feel very welcome to suggest other categories as well if you come to think of any, but I think that’s a good start.
And I think you can chat (do hangouts) with others too in the community but if it’s not possible in the community then you can always connect privately and chat on your own private profile pages.
So, I invite you to join; go and say ‘hi’ and start connecting with others 🙂

Hope you enjoy!

Hi Maria,
I am the reader the reader that originally suggested establishing a connection forum for those in the awakening process. I totally understand and agree with your decision not to go ahead with setting this up. I agree it would be a departure from the role you are providing as a spiritual guide and teacher.
I have to admit that for sometime I felt a strong need to connect with others going through transformation but since raising this with you that need seems to have subsided. I find that this is happening quite frequently now. For a while a need, an issue, a concern seems to be so important and then one day it just disappears or diminishes. Similarly I have been meaning to arrange a Skype session with you, but when I think “what will I discuss with Maria?” nothing comes to mind. It feels once sufficient attention is given to a concern it disappears in the “light of consciousness” you might say.
Hi Bob,
Great to hear from you again! 🙂
Yes, I can understand that sometimes people want to connect with others and sometimes not, but now you know where the Google community is if you would ever want to post anything there.
Regarding sessions with me; something always comes up! 🙂
Sometimes I have spoken with people for up to two hours even though the individual didn’t know what to talk about to begin with, they just felt drawn to me.
And I don’t necessarily stop the session just because one hour has passed.
If I have time and the flow is good between us then I just go with it.
Not that I always talk for two hours (a session is normally one hour), but it can happen, that’s my point – even if the person doesn’t know what to say etc when they contact me.
I don’t know what to say either; I don’t follow a script or anything like that, I simply let the unfolding of the conversation happen naturally and wherever people are, that’s where I meet them.
So my advise to anybody is to always go with things as they arise, that’s how I live my life too.
I don’t think too much, I just ‘do’ and then there’s always something good that comes out of me doing just that.
So whenever you wish to talk with me I’m here, and if not, then that’s perfectly fine too 🙂
And for those who are not sure then maybe joining my live calls would be a great starting point to get a feel of me as I am in person so to speak.
You can find more information about that here:

Anyways, I’m here and you know how to get in touch with me should you wish that later on 🙂
