Visualization Is Easy!
To visualize doesn’t necessary mean actually to see it. You can FEEL it.
Sometimes I hear people say that they don’t know how to visualize and I say “sure you do!”, we all do, but not all actually see clear, bright pictures in their minds.
Some of us are more visual than others, and the thoughts we think form mental pictures automatically, whether we see them clearly or not. The pictures we see with our mind’s eye produce feelings, but it is not necessary to actually see the pictures; it’s the feeling that is important.
The more emotionally involved we are in the thoughts we think, the more easily they get absorbed by the subconscious mind.
Visualizing is no more difficult than what you do when you remember some scene out of the past, or worry about the future. If you worry about something, you can create mental pictures about something horrible happening or you can just feel it occurring. Either way you are visualizing.
It is a powerful tool all can learn to use consciously and constructively.
Some people may be very auditory, meaning they visualize by hearing things about the future or past. They usually use speech as a visualization tool.
Same thing there; if there is no strong feeling behind the words, it’s not a very strong creative energy. The more of our senses we can include in our visualizations, the better, the stronger the involvement gets, of course, but as long as you use strong feelings, you’re right on.
So I suggest that if you have ever thought that you’re not good enough at visualization to just lighten up – as I wrote before, it’s an automatic response, and only when we learn how to use it constructively is it that we learn how to draw into our lives that what we consider to be desirable.
Speaking about goals and desires is a very powerful too because it’s not scattered everywhere. The same is true with writing. You can emphasize your inner conversation to make the connection and feeling stronger, and you can start writing more about how you’re ideal life looks and feels.
But do not think you’re not good enough at this! Self doubt is the worst dream-killer there is.
Imagination is the first key to your success mechanism and fulfillment. When a picture of what we want to do, have, or be is held in our imagination, the beginning of great living has already started, because the minute you see and feel it; you have it. The universe answers immediately. (There is only Now)
Imagine how you would look and feel, and what you would say and speak about, how you would like yourself to be. Imagine what kind of life you want to live.
Live in the picture, and hold it until it sinks into your subconscious mind, where it releases all the great untapped energy. You might see it in your mind, but you must feel it already complete or you’ll be missing a key step in the process.
Don’t worry about how things are going to work out, just focus on the outcome you are looking for and then let it go. Be as specific as you can, but only for as long as it feels good.
Your number one priority should always be feeling good. If you feel like you’re straining and striving to ‘make clear pictures’ in your mind; stop!
It’s suppose to feel good and when you let it go, there must be a feeling of certainty within you that you have indeed impressed your deeper mind with powerful images – remember, the subconscious mind responds to pictures and feelings, and pictures are made automatically when we think.
For example; close your eyes, and then stretch out your hand in front of you, imagine you see it with your inner eyes; you see it, don’t you?
Imagine having been outside for a walk and are just about to open your front door. You can see the door now, am I right?
Maybe someone is greeting you at the door, maybe your dog, or maybe you hear your husband calling from the kitchen “is that you hon?”. You ‘saw’ that, didn’t you?
So you see, it’s automated, so you just concentrate on the feeling-part if you have trouble actually seeing pictures and that will be enough.
Then let go, and re-visit the imagined scenario only if it feels good, until you one day stand in the middle of that dream and desire – because you were certain of its outcome.
