Spiritual Waiting Room and waiting on God, "waiting season"

Your Future is Being Prepared While You’re in the “Spiritual Waiting Room”

And our job is to prepare ourselves and get ready for when the doors open.

Our life is always unfolding according to our focus; what we ‘do’ and have our attention on, and sometimes there’s nothing to do too, and this is the waiting period, or season, where nothing seems to happen.

It can be really difficult to just sit back and ‘wait’, but when you have trust in how your life’s energy flows, the waiting periods become more enjoyable pauses where you know that where your doing ends, the Universe takes over from there and does the things that only it can do.

But sometimes the waiting period can be long, and it’s in these times we’re called to develop trust, patience, belief, and so on, but it’s always worth the wait, and it’s important to use the time well.

The waiting season comes when you have done all you can and taken things as far as you could, and when you genuinely don’t know what to do anymore, and can say with honesty that ‘God/Universe, take over from here, I have come to the end of what I could do’.

And if there’s anything else to prepare or do, then you’ll be intuitively guided to do so, and if not, then let go and trust that everything is exactly as it should and is unfolding in perfect timing.

Sometimes the timing of things depends on more than just us too, and we have to wait for things to be arranged and fall into place because other people are involved too.

And then one day, a door suddenly opens, an opportunity comes knocking, or something happens that allows the new or next chapter to begin for us, and if we have followed the flow and our intuition and Life’s guidance, then we’re ready to take it on and propel our lives forward.

“Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” ― Seneca

A few articles that can be helpful while you’re waiting:

The “spiritual waiting room”: What to do when ‘waiting on God’? This phase can also be called the spiritual Void, or ‘waiting season’, which is a very quiet phase in the process of manifestation and creation. In this phase nothing seems to happen, you are seeing no signs at all of progress, and you can’t ‘make’ things happen no matter how hard you try to push things forward.
Spiritual Waiting Room
Many times we think we’re ready to receive something, but the reality is that we’re not. In my own life there has been things I had to wait for for years before they happened, and looking back I can clearly see that even if I thought I was ready, I really wasn’t. Sometimes we can also be grateful that it didn’t happen, because we were meant for something different, better, or bigger.
Spiritual Waiting Room
Many people hold themselves in the waiting room for much longer than needed because they think that it’s all up to them, that they have to make everything happen, but when you understand the workings of your own consciousness and how life flows, then you also gain confidence and peace while waiting.

Here’s a couple of older articles too (from 2010 and 2015): What To Do When Waiting On God and Spiritual Waiting Room.

Also a helpful article: The ego is not able to make sense of the waiting time that every growth process entails, so it gets impatient, it starts to doubt, and is struggling to understand why things are not happening the way it wants to. It thinks something is or has gone wrong.
