“Why are we so hard on ourselves?”
Silencing the negative voice in your head
“Why are we all so hard on ourselves and so judgmental of ourselves?
And how can that hinder full empowerment and how can folks learn to accept and love themselves and transform this and shift beliefs around this?
I have no idea where this voice came from but in my meditations throughout the process a voice would literally be telling me a wasn’t worthy enough and I was a bad person and too selfish.
I know that’s not truly me and more a theme in society and the collective consciousness, and I’ve definitely transformed a lot of these beliefs but I know so many people struggle with this.
So would love to hear your perspective and thoughts on this?”
My reply
The inner critic (or negative ego voice) can be so loud that it actually manifests in an external, audible way, like the way you described by hearing an actual voice.
A memory came to mind of a similar experience that happened to me many years ago, but in a different way.
I experienced a visual manifestation of ‘fear’ showing itself to me as a “devil”, and it was terrifying.
In this article, I share why these things happen, what to do, and my own story of what happened and how I made it lose its power and evaporate into thin air.
